As you know, the MIT Sloan School has organized a very interesting portfolio of programs (colloquia, talks, get-togethers) during the Alumni weekend (May 12th-14th) as part of MIT's 150th Anniversary celebrations. I encourage you to attend this exciting event, though I know that almost all the programs are completely oversubscribed but there are some still available.
In any case, please come and visit us in Room 164 (E62) for a get-together and conversation. Any one with any interest in and connection to South Asia including by birth or relatives or intellectual and cultural curiosity or professional relationship is welcome to this get-together.
As you may know, MIT SAAA is relatively new. Over the last 4-5 months, we are in the process of re-energizing this association and we seek your active participation and input. For example, we are seriously considering initiating 3-4 vibrant and strong South Asia Alumni Clubs in US (please let me know if you have a suggestion and/or if you will like to volunteer).
